CEAG

CENTRAL EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION OF

GENEALOGISTS

CEAG is the acronym for the Central European Association of Genealogists. It was founded in 1985 by Jean Lefevre and Gurko von Neuhoff. Initially, it contained a list of Armigerous Families from Austria and Germany ennobled in the times of Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor and King of Spain (This explains the domain name, spanisharmorial). However, the project evolved, and now the CEAG contains numerous data and entries about European Nobility, mainly from Spain, Italy, France and Germany, including all the Baltic Countries and the Germanic Lands of Europe, and all Central and Eastern European countries. CEAG is a Non Profit, domiciled in Lichtenstein. CEAG only works with Universities, Libraries and Research Centres.
